Orientation

Orientation is where your Eynesbury journey starts – this is where you become an Eynesbury student!

What to expect

What will happen at Orientation?

Your Orientation week starts the week before your classes begin and consists of a series of exciting activities to best prepare you for your studies at Eynesbury.

You will learn how to enrol in modules and find your timetable as well as get familiar with campus facilities and meet your teachers and staff members. You can expect information sessions about your program and modules, how to get your student ID card, log on to computers and use the services and facilities available to students.
You will also learn about accommodation, employment, safety, health and counselling services all designed to help you settle into your new environment as quickly and comfortably as possible.
Most importantly you get to meet your new classmates and transition into your Eynesbury studies as well your life in Australia.

What do I need to bring?

Bring along your Eynesbury Offer Letter and pen and paper. International students will also need to bring a copy of your student visa grant letter, passport and contact details including Australian address and phone number, permanent overseas address and a name and email address of next of kin.

What are the dates and where do I go?

Information about Orientation will be sent out to you before you arrive so Eynesbury will let you know when it’s happening and where you have to be

Other activities to help you settle in

Join Study Adelaide events

It is mandatory to attend Orientation before you begin your studies at Eynesbury, however we also encourage students to join free events organised by Study Adelaide throughout the year for students from all educational institutions in South Australia.

Study Adelaide provides information and support to international students in South Australia. They organise many social events to help students make friends and settle into their new life as well as workshops to assist students with finding a job.

Learn more about Study Adelaide and their events and activities on their website.

Adjusting to life at Eynesbury

Support is always available

It may take a while to fully adjust to life as a new student, especially if you have moved to Adelaide from another country, or if it has been a while since you last studied.

We understand you may need support to settle in. Eynesbury offers plenty of support services to students who are going through a hard time.

Our Student Counsellor is available for confidential support for all personal issues and difficulties – no matter how sensitive, whether it is stress about your studies or concerns about your mental or physical health.

The Student Learning Advisor and Program Coordinators offer individual academic support, students are encouraged to book a one-on-one appointment to discuss any academic concerns.

For issues with enrolment, payment or CoE, our Student and Academic Services team are available to assist.
